DaltonSkyGazer Observatory News

I have not had an opportunity to post in some time, been tied up with work in recent months.  The DaltonSkyGazer Observatory work is just wrapping up.  I have insulated the warm room with spray foam and fiberglass insulation, just preparing to install either sheetrock or paneling inside the warm room.  The last bit of work on customizing the wiring and lighting is ongoing this week.  My goal for this week is to have all work completed and final cleaning out of the observatory along with organization will take place.

I ordered the hypertune kit for the CGEM and will be installing that some time in near future, but  will wait til I get some first images and curves accomplished for the mount for reference.  In addition, I should be receiving the adapter plate for the pier which will allow my LX-200 12″ GPS to be installed in place of the CGEM if I wish to jump up to larger optics!

First light images should be coming first weeks of December if not sooner, weather pending.  I have posted a few new images of the exterior door attached, much work has happened since door was installed.
